Day 1 : Checkin and transfer to Thimpu

Arrive at Paro International Airport. Complete Immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu. After checking into your hotel, proceed for a panoramic sightseeing of the capital of Bhutan which includes the following places of interest:

Memorial Chorten

KuenselPhodrang – World’s Largest Sitting Buddha Statu

BBS Tower – Provides a vantage point view of the Thimpu Valley

Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo

Trashichhodzong – Fortress in Thimphu





Day 2 : Drive to Punakha

After breakfast drive to Dochula Pass, Lamperi Botanical Garden and drive to Punakha .

Chimi Lhangkhang



Day 3 : Back to Thimpu

Back to Thimphu, if time permits then visit;

Folk Heritage Museum

Royal Textile Academy

Overnight stay in Thimphu.



Day 4 : Thimphu Tour

After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu, which includes the following places of interest:


Handicrafts Emporium

Zangtoperi Lhangkhang (Near vegetables Market)

Cheri Lhangkhang  

Semtoka Dzong –The oldest Dzong in Bhutan.

Note – On weekends, guests would also have the opportunity of visiting the weekend market, an interesting market with local items and bargain price handicraft goods. Overnight stay in Thimphu



Day 5 : Paro Valley

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to Paro. The Paro valley extends from the confluence of the ParoChhu and the Wang Chhu rivers at Chuzomupto Mt. Jomolhari at the Tibetan border to the North. This picturesque region is one of the widest valleys in the kingdom and is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley.After checking into your hotel, you would proceed for a sightseeing tour of Paro which would include the following places:

 DrukgyelDzong – Ruins of an old fortress in Paro

KyichuLakhang – Famous Monastery in Paro

Ta Dzong – National Museum of Bhutan

Ringpo Dzong (Paro Dzong)   

Overnight stay in Paro.



Day 6 : Taktshang Monastery

After breakfast visit Taktshang Monastery – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay in Paro



Day 7 : End of tour
