Meet and greet at Calicut Airport /Railway station by our representative and transfer to Wayanad. On arrival check in at resort. Various species of deer, monkeys, birds etc also live here. The trees and plants in the sanctuary are typical of the south Indian moist deciduous forests and west coast semi evergreen forests. After breakfast go for sightseeing it includes Edakkal caves this is a crevice for about 96 ft in length and 22 ft width. A fissure was created due to a rock splitting due to natural weathering. There are human and animal figures carvings on the rock walls depicting pre-historic period and civilized people. The caves can be approached by 1km trekking trail starting from Edakkal. Afternoon visit to Soochipara Waterfalls. The waterfall ranged from 100 to 300 feet in height and is a luxury to the eyes. This is a prominent place for leisurely destination. This place is a blessed place as its divinity is obvious in the beauty of the nature. After breakfast proceed to Coorg. On arrival check into resort. Proceed to visit Abbey falls-Tucked away between private coffee and spice estates, Abbey Falls offers a splendid backdrop for picnics. And Omkareshwara Temple-Just a stone's throw away from the Madikeri Fort is the Omakareshwara Temple, built in 1820 and featuring a blend of red-tile roofed Kerala architecture and Islamic-style domes. After breakfast check from resort and proceed to visit Kushalnagar and visit Bylakuppe - largest Tibetan settlement in South India. A beautiful Monastery with three large and imposing Golden Buddha statues and in a serene setting beckons you. The temple has 62 feet Buddha statues covered with gold plates is a wonderful sight anytime. Day 05: Mysore
After breakfast checkout from Resort. Proceed to Mysore. On arrival check into the resort. Visit Mysore Palace, also known as Mysore Maharaja Palace is one among the largest palaces in India. It is situated in the city’s center. The palace was built in the year 1897 using wood, which was damaged due to fire. It was later reconstructed in the year 1912. Chamundi Hills is 1065 meters above the sea level. It is just 3 kms from Mysore. The Chamundeshwari temple on top of the hill belongs to 11th century. It was renovated in 1827. Mysore Zoo also known as Shri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens offers wonderful experience. This is one among the oldest zoos in India having been constructed in 1892. The 200-year old St. Philomena’s Church is also called as St. Joseph’s Church. The Church is built in Gothic Style. Originally, a small church was in the place. Later, it was Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, who laid the foundation for the present St. Philomena’s Church. Brindavan Gardens is situated below Krishnaraja Sagar dam. The work to construct the garden commenced in 1927 and it was completed in the year 1932. It is spread across 150 acres of land and it is one of the best gardens in the country. Evening drive back to resort. Overnight at resort in Mysore.
After breakfast checkout from resort. Drive back to Calicut International Airport for your flight to onward destination.
