Experience

The Phi Phi Islands is situated in Krabi Province. There are two Islands in Phi Phi, which are divided into two, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley.Phi Phi ley is not much civilized and not much of tourist and is worth a visit. The crystal-clear water, a refreshing lack of roads, plus a laid-back lifestyle, and it's intresting  to see why Phi Phi is one of southern Thailand's most popular destinations.

Phi Phi Don is a crowded island. The Island looks breath taking as you just watch the sea.Its classic pure white sand framed by huge ancient cliffs and lapped by water that’s shade of turquoise.Phi Phi Island offers very nice scuba diving and a lot of easily accessible destinations, with most less than an hour away. The number of established diving companies is quite impressive considering the size of the island.

The underwater life around Phi Phi Islands is very diverse and fascinating. Leopard sharks are common and sometimes dolphins even visit the coasts. In some places, it is also possible just by using snorkeling equipment, to spot blacktipped reef sharks, especially if you swim along the beach early in the morning.

Few Beaches to Visit while in Phi Phi Island

Koh Phi Phi Leh
Phi Phi Leh is a less touristic island that lies 1.5km of  Phi Phi Don.

Loh Dalum
Exotic tropical paradise .Loh Dalum, on the opposite side of Phi Phi Island to Tonsai Bay.

Maya Bay
Maya Bay has become the main tourist attraction of Phi Phi after the move 'The Beach' was filmed here.

Tonsai Village
Tonsai Village is the heart of Phi Phi, there are no cars or roads, only footpaths. It's located with Tonsai Bay on the south side and Loh Dalum.

Tonsai East
While not as busy as Tonsai Village it still has shopping opportunities .and several large eateries that host nightly entertainment.

Tonsai West
You’ll notice that things get a lot quieter and peaceful in this section of the island.

Laem Tong Beach
Laem Tong Beach is a delightful place in northern Phi Phi for a relaxing quiet holiday.Right in front of the beach, although too far to swim to, are Bamboo Island, Mosquito Island and Hin Klang, three of the best spots for snorkeling and diving in Phi Phi. In the distance you can see Railay Beach and Koh Lanta.

Long Beach
Facing south west with stunning views of Phi Phi Lehlies ever popular Long Beach. This beach has possibly the softest and finest white sand, on an island of fine soft sand. There's also excellent snorkeling.

Weather is excellent throughout the year. The high season begins in November, just like in india, the season starts when its geting colder in europe, tourist start flying to tropical islands, to escape the winters in Europe. And this is the time when there is no rainfall in the tropical regions on South East Asia and the weather is excellent to travel.
