San Antonio, officially the City of San Antonio, grew so fast from 2000 to 2010, that became now the second most populated city in Texas. It is located in the American Southwest, the south-central part of Texas. The metropolitan area surrounding San Antonio is also known as the Greater San Antonio. The city
is the home to the five-time NBA winner San Antonio Spurs.

You can arrive to San Antonio by airplane and from there to the hotel you can take a taxi or maybe share one.

The Mokara Hotel and Spa is your perfect choice if you want the best services. The staff is always professional, friendly, well educated, polite and eager to help its clients. Once you get out of the car, you have people opening the door for you, luggages taken to your room, a very amiable guy at the front desk that takes care of your requirements and needs. The rooms are luxurious, the bathrooms are spacious and completely equipped. What really impressed me was how nice people treated all of their guests . It had to be a huge effort, but they made it.

San Antonio River Walk is a main tourist attraction , consisting in a network of walkways along the banks of the San Antonio River. The River Walk is lined with shops, bars , restaurants . During the annual springtime Fiesta San Antonio, you can see flowers floating down the river . This is a part of the River Parade.

One of the biggest attractions in San Antonio is the zoo. It houses over 230 endangered and rare species, even some from the American territory. The cathedral of San Fernando is a roman catholic church located in Downtown San Antonio and also a tourist attraction. Its exterior design is marvelous, being one of the oldest churches in the United States. The interior is spacious, bright, newly restored. It represents one of the treasures that San Antonio has.

Located in the Six Flags Fiesta , The Iron Rattler is a big attraction among young people, adolescents that love roller coasters. The old Rattler was restored and opened in 2013, being safer for those who enjoy this kind of fun. San Antonio also has a SeaWorld Park, with the famous roller coaster The Great White. Personally, I got dizzy just by looking at these kids up in the sky.

In the walking distance from the hotel, I have found one of the best wine and dine places in San Antonio. The Esquire Tavern is such a lovely place with modern wallpapers and amazing whiskey . The fried fish there is absolutely divine. The atmosphere is warm, you feel like you have known these people for a life time.

San Antonio is truly a great place to visit, full of lights and life.
