Niagara Falls



The city of Niagara Falls, Ontario, sits on the Niagara River at the set of waterfalls known as Niagara Falls. In addition to a massive set of waterfalls, Niagara Falls is also known as the Honeymoon Capital of the World that also offers casino gambling, wax museums and theme park rides.The city and area have a humid continental climate with mostly warm summers and cold winters.Winters see regular snowfall.The Niagara Falls can be viewed for free from the edge of the Niagara River.It has always been a talk if the Canadian or American side offers the best view, but one of the closest views of the falls can be seen from The Maid of the Mist. Maid of the Mist is a boat that takes tourists to the foot of the falls, where you can better appreciate their thunder and spray. 

Things to do while in Niagara Falls is visiting some Casinos.On the Canadian side, there are two casinos, the newer Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort and the older Casino Niagara.Secondly The Clifton Hill is a street, chock o' block full of tourist attractions such as wax museums, Ripley's Believe it or Not, haunted houses, and gift shops.Thirdly visit the The Niagara Falls Butterfly Conservatory features over 2,000 colourful tropical butterflies floating freely among lush, exotic blossoms and greenery.

Niagara On The Lake is a pretty little town on Lake Ontario at the mouth of the Niagara river. Calmer and quieter than it's brash partner in Niagara Falls, it makes a nice stop for any trip to Niagara Falls.You may not have heard of good Canadian wines, but there are numerous wineries in the Niagara region that provide the opportunity for a tour and a tasting, including a number of wineries in Niagara on the Lake and the amazing Jackson and Triggs Estate, with it's amazing architecture and modern, open-concept design.
